English is not my native language so I didn’t know the meaning of this saying until I saw the film True Grit by the Cohen brothers. I like this serious looking little  person who is staring me straight in the eye  and encourages me to don’t give up. This print is great to put in your baby’s room as a reminder of a most desirable characteristic.

The texts on the print says: Being a gritty person means that the one tends to stick to their goals despite numerous issues, problems, setbacks and failures. The person has firmness of mind and unyielding courage.
